Have you seen the new game, Palworld!? Itās like Pokemon, onlyā¦ with guns. Itās everywhere I look and has become the most-played game ever on Steam, within a week of its early-access launch. Absolute madness. Next week, I may include a Steam Key for the game in the newsletter, so make sure youāre subscribed - first come, first serve! š
I hope youāve all had a wonderful weekend, Heroes! ā Itās been an incredibly fun week for me - I launched three brand-new YouTube Channels, posted 10 videos in a single day to give things a little kick-start, and ate an entire vanilla sponge cake to myself. The last one is a little off-topic, but an achievement nonetheless. I canāt begin to describe how much of a weight off my shoulders that isā¦ not the cake; that probably added a few pounds.
Iāve also seen that weāve gained a few new subscribers to the Newsletter since the previous issue. Sup, folks. š I appreciate you signing up to hear more of my thoughts and obsessions. This week, I wanted to spend some time updating you all on the major changes and encourage you to check out the latest channels - next week I think Iām going to implement some changes to the Newsletter and learn all about them in the section below.

š Upcoming Changes & Announcements
Iām incredibly thankful that all of my āmajorā updates for the year are already done! For now, my primary focus is to coast along, enjoy content creation and grow the channels. š
With that said, a few minor updates are coming;
Newsletter Updates: Formatting will change, and Iāll be trying harder to replace my āLetās Catch Upā segment with a dedicated theme every week.
Online Store Updates: There are a few changes I want to make to my online store (that currently has 10% off EVERYTHING). Mostly aesthetic changes, but also pricing & a new digital product.
YouTube Gaming Content: My main channel has been going through a bit of a change lately - mostly because Iāve been busy working on the other videos for the other channels. Going forward, Iām going to be spending a little less time editing each video, and more time making shorter, cohesive guides and tutorials, a few ongoing series, and livestreams.

#1 - Palworld Dominatesā¦ Everything! š„
āWe were writing mere hours ago about how Palworld eclipsed Starfield on Steam, only for the game to now be right at the top of the chartsā¦ā
My thoughts on Palworld is that the game itself (from what Iāve seen - still trying to find the time to play it) is pretty average. The Pokemon community, however, have been longing for something like this for such a long time.
Even if this game doesnāt have the legs to maintain a huge player base in a monthās time, I hope this gives Game Freak/Nintendo/Pokemon a kick up the backside, encouraging them to create something at this level.
If a company with 11-50 employees can make something like this, imagine what a company worth $64.15B could do if they actually started hustling.
#2 - Godzilla Minus One Goes Black & White š²
āGodzilla Minus One Minus Color will be shown in theaters across the United States starting on Friday, January 26, 2024. The remastered black-and-white version of the movie will play in theaters for one weekā¦ā
One of the best movies of 2023 gets a black-and-white remake. Remaster? Version? Whichever terms fits the bill here, itās awesome to see. Iām personally waiting on the digital release to rewatch the movie, which should be coming at some point in February.
If you havenāt already seen Godzilla Minus One, head to the nearest theatre and check it out before the beloved kaiju disappears once again.
#3 - Galaxy AI Blows Away Tech Enthusiasts, But Wonāt Last Longā¦ š¤
āIn a footnote on Samsungās online listings for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, the company briefly notes that Galaxy AI features are only free for about two yearsā¦ā
Interestingly, the original tweet from Adam Matlock, who discovered this little cavitate to the Galaxy S24ās fun little feature, has been deleted.
In my opinion, I donāt see this as a major issue - AI will advance rapidly over the next few years, and similar features will be implemented into pretty much every phone in that time. Nonetheless, the S24 has had a huge marketing campaign, with influencers like MrBeast even promoting the product.
If youāre anything like me and tend to stick with the same phone for many years at a time, itās very concerning to know that you may have to pay money for features that natively came with your phone.
